Ignisophos Press

The word, Ignisophos, is a multilingual creation combining the Latin word, “ignis,” and the Greek root, “sophos.” Therefore, Ignisophos means “fiery wisdom.”

Ignisophos Press is an independent publisher established in the summer of 2021.

It is a small press committed to the epitome of stellar storytelling and publishing books that embody the ideals of zealousness, uniqueness, and original artistic excellence.

The publisher’s logo signifies a vision that is partly based on one of the famous symbols of Ishtar, the ancient Mesopotamian goddess of love and war: the eight-pointed star.

This star of grace and wonders is immersed within the eternal flame of life, the “ignis,” which symbolizes the diversified power of the incognizable One and Supreme Divine, the All-Merciful and the All-Compassionate, in each and every person.

The power to fight for our aspirations and live our best life. The power to develop “sophos,” wisdom, within our souls. The power to make worthwhile contributions to the world. The power to serve others out of sheer love and kindness. And the power to make a difference.
